3. Naptime is the best time ever

Naptime is the best time not only for your baby but for you as well. You can work from home, so you can get lots of work done while your baby is napping. If you aren’t working, you can read a book, clean the house, do some gardening, or take a nap yourself when your little one is sleeping.

4. Schedule change

Before you have a baby, you can stay up until midnight and easily sleep until 11:00 on the weekends. Once you have a baby your schedule will change greatly.

You will be lucky if you can stay up until 10:00 at night and 7:00 is sleeping in on the weekends! However, this change is not actually all that bad, since you get to have some wonderful moments with your baby during those hours.

5. Belief in magic

Children believe in magic. As an adult, you might forget about the magic, but when you have a baby, you see the magic and start believing in it again. The Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, dragons, fairies, and many other things become real again. It is really great to experience.

6. The little things matter

All those little things that you usually take for granted, such as stomping in puddles, taking a walk, seeing a fire truck rolling down the road, seeing a bee or butterfly, all matter again. And they are so amazing when you have a child!

7. Playing is really fun

Sure, as an adult, you can’t play with toys and games. When you have your own baby, you play with toys and games and have fun with them again. This is one of the things you never realize until you have a baby!
