6 Cheap Must-Have Beauty Products

Although most cheap beauty products are ineffective, there are a few great cheap products you should definitely try. I’m a bargain shopper at heart and I always love using cheap beauty products that work great. Check out a list of 6 cheap must-have beauty products. These products are available at most corner drugstores, or online and they come in a hearty size and work really great!

1. Coconut oil

Even though coconut oil may not seem like a completely cheap product, it can be used for everything. It can serve as a moisturizer, makeup remover, shaving cream, wrinkle cream, body lotion, wound healer, lip moisturizer, vaginal yeast remedy, hair conditioner or frizz tamer for your hair. You can also make your own toothpaste with baking soda and coconut oil. Coconut oil is super versatile and it can last forever! Instead of paying full price in stores, you can purchase an organic brand online to save on a large container.

2. St. Ives body lotion

I love St. Ives, it makes so many good cheap beauty products! Perhaps the best thing about this company is that their beauty products are free of most toxic chemicals and animal products. Most of all I like their body lotion and one of my favorite scents is the Oatmeal and Shea Butter scent that is so indulgent and alluring and it keeps my skin baby soft all day!

3. Sea salt soap

Last year I stopped using those expensive face cleansers and switched to an inexpensive natural sea salt soap. It’s very nourishing and cleansing to my skin and it doesn’t irritate it or dry it out. It will do wonders not only for your skin, but for your budget as well! Your skin will be very soft and really clear and clean! Instead of buying an expensive, chemically-filled body wash, you can use the same kind as body soap.

4. Johnson’s baby shampoo

I always keep a container of Johnson’s baby shampoo on hand. I use it for everything! I wash my long hair with it and clean my makeup brushes. Just add a few drops of shampoo to a big glass of water and then soak your makeup brushes overnight, rinse them and dry well. Moreover, Johnson’s baby shampoo doesn’t contain any chemicals that may irritate the skin.

5. Garnier Length & Strength shampoo and conditioner

Since I’m trying to grow out my hair, I use Garnier Length & Strength shampoo and conditioner. They offer hydration without weighing my hair down. These shampoo and conditioner will make your hair clean, silky and super soft. They’re also affordable and many newspaper circulars sometimes offer coupons. I usually find the coupons online.

6. Physician’s Formula BB cream and powder

I’m a big fan of BB powders and creams, but many of them either contain high dose of chemicals or don’t work well. And more elite brands are very expensive. Physician’s Formula is the best BB product line I have ever used! It doesn’t contain all those nasty ingredients and is really affordable. My makeup looks polished and perfect all day long without looking oily.

When it comes to beauty products I’m a big minimalist. I get the same effects as expensive products with these cheap beauty products without sacrificing quality and my skin. What are your favorite cheap beauty products? Share your thoughts, please!
