4. Never sleep in your makeup

One of the most important skincare rules you should follow is never sleep in your makeup. Every time you sleep with your makeup on, it clogs up your pores and, what’s worse, you could wake up with different kinds of dirt and oil on your face. Always wash your face before going to bed to save your skin from breakouts and make it look amazingly fresh in the morning.

I didn’t know that I should have used a nightly serum until I noticed that when I woke up, my face was very dry. Today, when I remove my makeup, I always apply a night serum. 6. Never pick or pop pimples
