Are you looking for the make-up trends for spring 2013? With the temperatures rising, I’m ready to ditch the winter clothing and dull winter make-up looks for something spring-like. Check out top 7 make-up trends for spring 2013.
1. Natural look
This spring is all about the natural look. Just cleanse your skin twice a day and use a good tinted moisturizer for a natural makeup look. You will also need a good under-eye concealer and lip balm. Remember, you can always have a perfect skin without wearing any make-up!
2. Bright eyeliner
If you need a look that is not too different, but that gives you the spring feeling, there are a lot of different eyeliner colors so you have a choice between the boring and bright ones. A thick navy blue line across your upper lid is quick, easy and really fresh. You can also opt for chocolate browns or forest green!
3. Metallic wash across the eyelid
There is an absolutely new take on the classic smokey eye, and it is much more creative. Chanel has championed this make-up trend using washes of metallic colors across the eyelids to make the outfits really pop. Thin black line around the eyes surrounded by metallic wash across the eyelids up to the eyebrows and finished with a few coats of mascara is one of the best ways to get the look.
4. Blue eyes make-up
Pastel colors are a big trend this spring, and there is nothing hotter than a nice pastel blue. For greater impact, mix a brighter pop with a pastel shade – aqua and powder blue perfectly complement each other, and capture a look that is both retro and youthful. It’s one of the make-up trends for spring 2013!
5. Bright lips
This spring make your lips bright and bold. Bright pinks and oranges ruled the catwalk, but they were also given a more modern touch with an opaque, velvety finish. Before adding a bright lip liner outline and filling in your lips with a velvet lipstick, always use a concealer as a base. This season a natural base and eyes are a big trend – apply some light mascara and a concealer and you’ll be looking amazing without being too overdone!
6. Big eyebrows
Eyebrows are big and bold this spring. Forget about plucking your eyebrows. Just get them brushed up to offer strength and definition, and do not be afraid to go bold! Big eyebrows add a chic symmetry to your look.
7. Flush blush
Properly applied blush will give you a natural, reflective and healthy glow. Avoid the bolder colors, instead opt for natural tones that add a bronze to your cheeks and sculpt the cheekbones. This spring invest in a palette of nude bronzes and browns in order to work with different looks.
