If you hate the taste of spinach but want the health benefits of it, it’s time for you to learn some delicious ways to add spinach to your diet. I like putting spinach into my favorite foods without having to taste a great number of vegetables. So, take a look at some of my favorite ways to add spinach to the diet.
1. Put spinach in your omelet
Eggs are an excellent source of protein, so why not add spinach to an omelet and get the health benefits of it? My favorite is mozzarella with spinach and some onions. No matter how you love your omelets, putting in a bit of spinach is a wonderful addition to your already tasty and healthy eggy meal.
2. Add spinach to smoothies
Adding spinach to delicious smoothies is one of the easiest ways to add more spinach to your diet. I like a strawberry banana smoothie, and I often add a handful of spinach to it. It’s amazing because you will not be able to taste the spinach, but you will get the health benefits of it. Plus, you can add spinach to any smoothie without noticing how healthily you’re actually eating.

3. Sprinkle spinach in your soup
Soup is a great way to stay warm and healthy this fall. When making a tomato or chicken noodle soup, cut up small pieces of spinach and add them to the soup. Spinach will add a little bit of texture to the soup, and you will not notice a big difference in taste.
4. Sprinkle spinach on pasta
Sprinkling some chopped spinach on your pasta is one of the best ways to spice up your meal and add more spinach to your diet. I usually add spinach to red sauce, and I don’t even notice the taste of spinach. If you are using a lighter sauce, chopping up a bit of spinach will give your pasta an even more delicious taste.
5. Add spinach to your salad
This is another easy way to add more spinach to your diet. You might dislike the thought of spinach, but combine it with iceberg lettuce or romaine, and you will not even notice the difference. You can also train yourself to begin to consume more and more spinach by adding a bit and then slowly increasing the amount of it.
6. Use spinach as pizza sauce
I’m sure that everyone likes pizza. But if you want to make it as healthy as possible, consider adding spinach. You can use spinach as a topping or smear pureed spinach on top of your pizza.
Take fresh baby spinach and put it in a food processor for about 2-3 minutes. Then spread it on top of your pizza dough before you spread on top your normal pizza sauce. The taste will be barely noticeable, and you will get an extra burst of healthiness.

7. Mix spinach in your meat
Why not trick your family into eating healthy spinach without them knowing? Instead of just mixing up ground beef for burgers at your next BBQ, add a bit of spinach to the mix. I promise the taste will be so subtle that no one will even notice it, but they will definitely get all of the health benefits of spinach. You can also mix this superfood into ground turkey for tasty turkey burgers.
