With my busy life, it’s often hard to stick to a daily workout routine, so I found some exercises I can do anywhere. These exercises are easy and quick, and you can do them as many times as you want throughout the day. If you are tired of going to the gym every day, check out some simple exercises you can do anywhere!

1. Squats

Cosmopolitan magazine recommends doing squats when you are drying your hair, but another perfect opportunity to do squats is when you are waiting for your nail polish to dry or for your computer to boot up.

2. Dancing

Dance is one of the easiest exercises you can do almost anywhere. You can dance when you get up in the morning and when you are getting dressed. Just put on your favorite song and dance!

The movement will wake you up, and get your blood and adrenaline pumping. Moreover, dancing helps to reduce stress!

3. Touch your toes

This is another great exercise that you can do on the edge of your bed, sitting in a chair, standing up or on the floor. All you should do is to touch your toes. Remember not to bend your knees!

Stretch out your legs in front of you and touch your toes. You can do as much as you want, but try to do at least 20 times.

4. Jumping jacks

I like jumping jacks. They are so fun and easy that you can incorporate them into your dance routine! Do jumping jacks when waiting for your shower to warm up, waiting for your coffee to finish brewing or waiting for your food to heat up in the oven or microwave.

5. Exercise before bed

You can also do some exercises when you are lying on your bed relaxing before you go to sleep. You can do toe touches or some crunches. There are endless options when choosing how you want to exercise before bed!

6. Exercise during the commercial break

You can do any quick exercise during the commercials, whether it toe touches, squats, jumping jacks, planks or crunches lunges. If you can fit in a workout during commercial breaks, go for it! Most television ads are either 15 or 30 seconds in duration and that’s lots of exercise time!

7. Walking

Walking is another good exercise. Take a walk during your lunch break or walk around town with your family or friends.

Every time I see my friends, we walk around chatting away. Sometimes we even lose track of time. This is one of the best exercises where you can forget you’re exercising at all!

8. Stairs

Always use stairways instead of riding elevators. While it might not sound like much of an exercise, the flights can really add up. I live on the seventh floor of my dormitory and I go up and down the stairs more than 3 times a day! Ditch the elevator and take the stairs!
