Rather than making huge New Year’s resolutions, make these little health and wellness resolutions for a healthy 2022 year. When it comes to our health, small changes always lead to great results, but many of us forget about it.
Most of us make money resolutions, but this year let’s think of more practical resolutions. Here is a list of a few health and wellness resolutions you may want to make this year.
1. Exercise 5-7 days a week
I’m not telling you to hit the gym every single day in 2022. You just need to stay active at least 5 days a week.
Take a yoga class, walk your dog, or ride your bike. In one word, do anything to move your body! Regular exercise will keep your body healthy!
2. Drink 8-10 cups of water every day
Another health and wellness resolution that every person should make is to drink more water every day! Your body is composed of more than 60% water and every organ needs it for proper function. This year, make a resolution to drink 8-10 cups of water every single day.

3. Limit your intake of deep-fried food
Deep-fried foods are high in unhealthy saturated fats, unhealthy trans fats, and calories. These foods do nothing good for your body and that is why I recommend you limit your intake of deep-fried foods in 2022.
It’s not difficult to order grilled foods instead of fried, swap those doughnuts for a healthy breakfast, and find a healthier alternative for French fries.
4. Eat 5-9 servings of veggies and fruits every day
Fruits and veggies are rich in minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients, and antioxidants that you can’t get anywhere else. In 2022, eat 5-9 servings of veggies and fruits every day.
If you don’t like vegetables or fruits, you should learn to love them since they are the most powerful form of medicine, especially when it comes to fighting off cancer and some illnesses.
5. Limit your intake of sweets
Perhaps, this sounds restrictive for you, but you should try to limit your intake of sweets to no more than 100 calories a day. This will help your waistline and your energy levels! Sweets are high in calories, sugar, and fat, and they can leave you feeling sluggish and tired.
6. Skip the soda
Full of sugar, artificial sweeteners, and high fructose corn syrup, drinking soda is a bad habit you should drop in 2022. You can drop 10 to 20 pounds just from giving up all kinds of soda. After all, there are so many healthy drinks, so skip soda this year.

7. Limit your intake of red meat
Researchers show that a diet low in red meat and high in healthy fats, whole grains, and plant-based foods, is one of the world’s healthiest diets. Red meat contains artery-clogging saturated fat that can lead to heart disease if you consume it in excess for too long.
Stick to these resolutions and 2022 will be your healthiest year! Have you begun thinking about your New Year’s resolutions? Are you going to make any of these health and wellness resolutions?1
