5. Take Biotin
If you have brittle nails, it doesn’t matter how fast they grow. They will break anyway. Biotin is a B vitamin that is proven to help strengthen brittle nails. If you don’t already take a multivitamin, add one to your morning routine. Make sure it has a large amount of biotin. Another option is to add biotin separately as a supplement. Consider taking a B complex that includes all B vitamins. If you are lacking biotin, you might be lacking other important B vitamins, too.
