1. Dance with your baby

Dancing with your baby is one of the best ways to get back into shape after giving birth. So hold your infant close and dance a little jig. You can shimmy when you are vacuuming or doing dishes; even a little bit of movement will be enough to burn some calories.

2. Just walk

Walking is another way to get back into shape after giving birth. Walking is not difficult and you can easily do it with your kid. Walk around your house a few times or walk around the block a few times!

3. The bridge

I hope you know that crunches are terrible for firming a post-baby tummy? The bridge is a great exercise. Place your feet flat on the floor below your bottom and with your shoulders push your belly up. It’s so easy to do! Do this for 30 seconds 10 times and it will work wonders!

4. Baby squats

While holding your baby do some squats. I know it seems a little silly, but try to do at least 10 squats about 8 times a day, and your thighs will be toned up pretty quickly.

5. Stand one leg fly

It works your shoulders, your abs, and your thighs. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold dumbbells in your hands at your sides. Keeping your arms in front of your chest with your palms facing each other, extend your left leg behind you. Exhale while bringing your arms out to your sides. Lower and do 4 more times. Switch sides for 5 more reps.

6. Climb up and downstairs

I’m not telling you to go up and down stairs a million times. I just walk up and down the stairs leading to the laundry room while my baby naps for about 10-15 minutes. Although it sounds weird, you will feel the burn faster and after a few weeks, your legs will look great!

7. Talk to your doctor

Well, breastfeeding can help burn up to 500 calories a day. Moreover, it’s good not only for your baby but for you too. However, you have to remember that if you lose weight too fast when breastfeeding, your milk can become toxic. Be sure to consult your doctor before starting any fitness program.
