Planning summer dates can be really hard! That’s why I decided to compile a list of some awesome summer date ideas! They are all unique, all different and they will keep you and your significant other active. Read on and find out where to take your boyfriend or girlfriend!

1. Carnival date
Have you ever think about a carnival date? This is one of the fun summer date ideas you may want to try this summer! So, put on a cute outfit, some comfortable shoes and hit the carnival! The best thing about carnivals is that there is often live music to listen to!
2. Park tour
Looking for something really cheap and something really fun? Why not walk around a lake or tour a historical park? This date idea is especially awesome for the first or second date since it lets you have a chance to talk more to your date and therefore get to know him better!
3. Beach date
I love beach dates! They are always fun and they will keep you and your partner active! Moreover, it’s an excellent way to cool off when it’s so hot outside! No matter whether you hit up the ocean or a lake beach, be sure to pack a picnic!
4. Take a picnic
Go to your local park and have a picnic! This can be really fun for both of you! Think of picking the ideal place in the park and making sandwiches together.
You can even have a picnic on the beach. My husband and I go on picnics almost every weekend in the summer!
5. Concert date
Concert date is another awesome summer date idea. A concert date is not perfect for the first or second date, since you won’t have an opportunity to talk to each other. If your or your partner’s favorite band is coming to your town, you should definitely get some tickets. This would be one of the most wonderful dates you’ve ever had!
6. Go to the zoo
Another summer date idea that I like to do is to go to the zoo! Going to the zoo is also great exercise and can allow you to see animals that you have never seen before. I like going to the zoo when it is warm and nice outside!
7. Drive-in theater date
If you have a drive-in movie theater near you, then this idea is right for you! I like these dates since they are super inexpensive and really fun! This date idea is also perfect for the first or second date!
