During the summer season there’s nothing better than strolling along the beach in your bikini proud of your sculpted and toned body. But unfortunately, only 20 percent of women feel confident in their swimsuits.

Many of the unconfident women feel like they’re being scrutinized and judged by other people, especially by women. If you feel unconfident in your bikini, check out a few tips that will help you to feel more confident in your swimsuit!

1. Wear the bikini that fits you and your curves

If you have large breasts, then a strapless bikini top may be a nightmare for you. That’s why it’s important to find the bathing suit that fits you and your curves.

Go to a bathing suit store or a department store to find the bikini that will fit you well. Don’t refuse to pay more for a well fitted bathing suit since you will have it for many years.

2. Treat your body with the love and respect

Try eating healthy with fresh vegetables, fruits and whole grains and don’t forget about your workout. Treating your body with the love and respect it deserves will help you to disregard obesity genetics (if it runs in your family) and be more confident in your bathing suit!

3. Integrate your cardio exercises

If you want to tone your body and to feel more confident in your bikini, make sure you integrate such cardio exercises as walking, biking or running to burn calories and to get your body bikini ready! Try to exercise 4-6 days per week or if you’re only starting out – 1-2 days a week.

4. Drink plenty of water

To reduce bloated belly bulge, drink plenty of water every day (at least 8-10 glasses a day). You can add a slice of lemon in every glass.

It won’t only make you feel better about your body, but also make you look much leaner! And don’t forget about healthy snacks for the beach!

5. Wear your bikini with confidence

If you can’t lose those pounds, simply forget about them! Forget about how insecure you were about your chest or your butt and start loving yourself for who you are.

Walk with strong posture and your head up and wear your bikini with confidence! Trust me you look amazing!

6. Stop feeling self-conscious

You might worry that many people are looking at you as you enter the beach or the pool area wearing your bikini. In fact, this is all in your head and those people could not care less what bathing suit you are wearing.

Stop feeling self-conscious and walk with confidence. Confidence makes you look even more beautiful! Even if someone is staring at you, it’s because he/she is in awe, but not disgust.

7. Stop comparing yourself to others

Being insecure is certainly not sexy so stop comparing yourself to others, especially to those airbrushed models on magazine cover. Kick all your negative thoughts to the curb, love your bikini body and remember you are beautiful!
