Major manufacturers of toothpaste use baking soda and peroxide in combination to create a whitening formula.
You don’t need the peroxide if you don’t want it. A little baking soda, made into a paste by adding a small amount of water, makes a great teeth whitener.
Don’t use it too often though, because it is abrasive and can wear away at enamel. Use it once a week to remove plaques and stains.
