7 Ways to Eat Healthier with almost No Effort


Today most people are trying to find that perfect balance between ways to eat healthier and ways to enjoy the food. Eating healthier shouldn’t be hard or a constant battle for healthy over tasty, there are a few great ways to eat whatever you want yet eating healthy. So, take a look at them.

1. Never skip your breakfast

I’m sure many of us skip breakfast in the morning, and I’m also guilty of it. However, eating breakfast makes a huge impact on the success of eating healthier. Perhaps, this is one of the most difficult ways to eat healthier on the list, but it’s essential not to skip your breakfast. Begin your day with the right mix of protein and complex carbohydrates. You can opt for a veggie omelet or even a meal bar with low fat and sugar content.

2. Snack 2-3 times throughout the day

Your metabolism works better when you keep it going. When you snack 2 or 3 times throughout the day, you keep your metabolism going practically constantly. This means that more food will be burned and less will be stored. The perfect snacks are nuts, veggies low in sugars, rice crackers, and snack bars, which are low in fat and sugar.

3. Opt for veggie

I’m a big fan of pizza, but, since I’m trying to eat healthy I opt for a veggie pizza. A veggie pizza can have less than half the fats and carbs as a meat pizza or plain cheese pizza. If you don’t like pizzas, it’s okay. You can eat those tasty vegetable salads every day.

4. Food swaps

Just because you are trying to eat healthy doesn’t mean you can’t eat chips, or a dessert, or you can’t drink coffee. You can still have all of this without 3-hour gym trips or guilt. For a dessert, you can eat some Jello topped with a tiny amount of whipped cream for less calories and fat. Instead of chips you can eat kale chips or nuts, and you can have one coffee a day.

5. Drink enough water

One of the easiest ways to stay healthy is to carry a small bottle of water with you. Clear water will help you stay on track for your fitness and health goals. Water reduces curbs hunger, bloating, helps keep your skin clear and firm, and it is needed for proper everyday function. So, whenever you start to feel hungry, drink about 8-ounces of clear water instead of eating something. Chances are you won’t be so hungry afterwards.

6. Time

There are certain times when the body absorbs certain foods better. So, if you’re going to eat a great amount of sugary carbs and fats, make sure to eat them in the morning since your body will have more time to burn them off. The best time to eat sweet treats is in the mid afternoon when your body can process those sugars much more easily.

7. Don’t eat late

Eating before going to sleep is one of the biggest problems most of us face. Eating late can cause numerous gastrointestinal issues and lower your metabolic rate. So don’t eat anything 2-hours before going to bed. And try to make it a rule not to eat anything after 10 pm.
