1. Get wet in the rain

Getting wet in the rain is something that, I’m sure, many people enjoy doing. Don’t think about wetting your lovely dress and your beautiful sandals, break your rut and just get wet in the rain, even if it is something out of your comfort zone.

2. Shower each other with water

Showering each other with water is one of the best things to do on a rainy day. Just pull each other’s umbrellas and shower water on each other, it is really fun. I also enjoy sitting on my porch and dangling my feet under the rain.

3. Dance in the rain

So you’ve got wet in the rain and you’ve showered each other with water, now it’s time for the bigger step. Indulge in a rain dance! You can invite your friends and dance like there’s nobody watching!

4. Color yourselves

Yes, girls, you read it right! Invite your friends, put on your bathing suits and color yourselves with bathtub crayons. Draw some funny faces on your stomachs or write some funny messages. Get out in the rain (you can even dance) and wash yourselves off.

5. Go for a drive

Have you ever experienced driving through heavy rain? This might be fun activity, but it is important not to speed.

It’s better to go for a drive when it’s a light shower. You can enjoy driving and watching the countryside or the city transformed during the rain.

6. Camp out

When the clouds start to gather, pitch a tent in your backyard. You will stay dry when the rain begins, but the change of scenery will make it feel like a great adventure. Once inside, create flashlight shapes on the walls, tell ghost stories or play some board games and enjoy the rhythm of raindrops hitting your tent.

7. Engage in sports

Have you ever played soccer on a rainy day? No? Then get your butt off the couch, put on your sneakers, go out, and play soccer with your friends. Remember soccer is not only for men!

8. Take funny pictures

Grab your disposable waterproof camera and take as many funny pictures as possible! You can take pictures of your children moving around with raincoats and jumping in the water. Or take pictures of you and your friends having fun when it is raining outside.
