Regular eating breakfast helps you to be healthier overall! Typical breakfast foods contain lots of the vitamins, nutrients, and fiber that your body needs on a daily basis. 2. Boost your energy

One of the most obvious reasons to eat breakfast is that you give your body a huge boost of energy to start your day! Eating breakfast literally means “breaking the fast” after sleeping for 7-8 hours, that’s why eating a healthy meal will help to raise your blood sugar and boost your metabolism to keep you going for a long day ahead!

3. Prevent overeating

Eating breakfast will keep you feeling full and satisfied, in addition, it also prevents you from overeating later. If you skip breakfast, you can end up eating more food than you want or need later. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports that people who eat breakfast every day consume at least 100 calories per day than people who skip breakfast!

4. Lose weight

It seems like there is no direct link between weight loss and eating breakfast, but that important meal really makes a huge difference! If you don’t eat breakfast in the morning, you will feel so hungry by mid-morning that you’ll grab even high-calorie food in order to satisfy your hunger. The Journal of Epidemiology conducted a study that showed that people who regularly skip breakfast are 4.5 times more likely to become obese than those who eat breakfast every day.

5. Improve concentration

Have you ever tried to focus on an empty stomach? It’s difficult, right? It’s really hard to concentrate on anything when your stomach is grumbling and you are literally running on empty! Harvard University conducted research that found that people who ate breakfast were more attentive and other researchers have found that eating breakfast improves problem-solving ability and mental performance.

6. Boost immune system

Today we can’t afford to take sick days, so I’m always seeking some easy ways to boost my immunity, and eating breakfast is one of the best ways! Research done in the UK showed that skipping breakfast was associated with greater susceptibility to such diseases as cold and flu. Make your breakfast healthier by adding fruits with plenty of vitamins that will help ward off infections!

7. Improve strength

Eating breakfast also helps to keep you going through the day and strengthen your body. According to a study published by The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, people who eat breakfast every day have a better attitude towards school or work. Eating breakfast also increases endurance throughout the day!

8. Reduce cholesterol level

Lowering cholesterol levels is one of the greatest benefits of eating breakfast every morning! Having breakfast every day can help reduce your LDL cholesterol. And you probably know that a high level of LDL cholesterol may increase the risk of atherosclerosis and heart disease, which are both risk factors for stroke. That’s why breakfast really is the most important meal of the day for you!

I hope that after reading this post, you will change your mind about skipping breakfast. Breakfast doesn’t have to be large. You can eat oatmeal or yogurt with some fruit.
